09:30 am Sorry no posts lately.  I will post a full update later.  However, I did want to let all the Milwaukeeans know that J and I just purchased season tix for the Broadway series at the Marcus Center.  We did balcony, because we are poor AND tix were only $112 for the whole season.  We chose Sunday evening, because of price and having worked at the theatre, I know that Sunday nights are typically slow.  We got tix in the front row center of balcony!  https://oss.ticketmaster.com/html/pack_planlist.htmI?l=EN&CNTX=&team=mcpa1&selID=3 The season ROCKS this year, bringing 2 of my all time fav musicals (My Fair Lady and Avenue Q) and two that I am dying to see (Spamalot and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee).  The Lion King is just icing.   . 10:19 am I am considering auditioning for the Sound of Music at Falls Patio Players in Menomonee Falls. I had told myself that I didn't want to do another show there, but am really itching to get back on stage. Also, I will most likely end up not going to later T'ai Chi sessions if they conflict. 10:12 am - W/E update The final three performances of the show went really well. Now, I have no idea what I will do with myself...maybe I will actually see my friends, clean my house on a regular basis, cook meals and gasp get a full night's sleep every night...but that is no fun! Does anyone want to resume our evening walks? Maybe followed by evening glasses of wine and gossip? I think I will definitely audition for other shows in the future...probably not with this company, though...too suburbian for me! I was called into work on Saturday at the Body Shop...I think I might not work there much longer...I want my summer weekends free for play time and housework and camping trips and biking and yoga...etc. Speaking of play time, in less than two weeks, we will be lying on the beach in Mexico! Yay! Before we go, I want at least one more swim suit, a new coverup and a new pair of shiny flip flops. And sunglasses...but I might be able to get a pair from a vendor once I am there. I am so excited for 5 days of sun, beaches, ruins, snorkling, margaritas, food and body shots! Not much else new here...I am attending a fundraiser for Fair Wisconsin tonight, which should be fun. One of my co-workers is guest bartending at the Monkeybar to raise money for the fight against the Gay Marriage Ban Amendment. I am happy to toss one or two back for a good cause.
